By downloading, accessing, or using the Expense Tracker mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial financial tracking purposes on a device owned or controlled by you.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App except as allowed by law
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use the App in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights
- Interfere with the operation or security of the App
3. App Features
The App currently includes features such as:
- Transaction tracking and categorization
- Financial charts and visualizations
- Data export functionality (CSV, Excel)
- Local data management using SwiftData
We may add, remove, or change features at any time.
4. User Data and Responsibility
You retain ownership of the financial data you enter into the App.
You are solely responsible for the data you enter, export, or share. As the App uses local storage, we recommend maintaining your own backups. We are not responsible for any loss of data due to app deletion, device failure, or other technical issues.
5. Third-Party Content & Ads
The App may display advertisements provided by third-party services like Google AdMob. We do not endorse or assume any responsibility for any third-party products, services, or content advertised within the App.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, software, branding, text, and graphics, is owned by the Expense Tracker Team or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that the financial calculations provided will always be 100% accurate for legal or tax purposes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Expense Tracker Team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of the App.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
